Reader’s Theatre table read of ELEPHANT by Lewis Morrow – Sunday, March 24

Winner of WCT’s Reader’s Theatre Contest will be a read only event at 2-4pm, with a TalkBack with the author.

Lewis conceived ELEPHANT, a story based on a real-life incident of a black man being approached by his white female boss with an offensive request – to wear a chicken suit as part of a presentation to impress the company’s CEO. The play dives into a discussion about racism in the workplace and uplifts the perspective of Black and Latin individuals, showcasing how microaggressions can fester and explode, and how people of color resist and persist against those tensions. For Mature Adults. Reservations are not needed for this FREE event. Stay for the TalkBack with Lewis Morrow.
